TULSA — According to Tulsa police, around 3 a.m. Monday morning, officers responded to a woman who had been severely beaten.
Officers say the victim was transported to a local hospital and was pronounced dead.
Tulsa detectives say they are questioning witnesses and family.
Tulsa police have yet to release the name of the victim.
Tulsa is averaging 1.35 homicides per week so far for 2019. Last year, in 2018, Tulsa averaged 1.17 homicides per week.
