Police: Woman dies after shooting at north Tulsa convenience store

TULSA — Tulsa police say a woman is dead after a shooting at a convenience store in north Tulsa.

Around midnight, police were called after the woman was found with a gunshot wound in the parking lot at Nafie's Food Mart at 205 Mohawk Boulevard.

The woman was taken to the hospital, where she died. She was identified as Soconda Boyd, 47.

Police say several witnesses at the scene were not cooperative with the investigation.

Police have identified Diamanta Tibbs as the suspect.

Tibbs is wanted for first degree murder.

One witness told police that the gunfire possibly came from a dark-colored SUV.

Police are searching for any information pertaining to this incident.
