Police: Woman arrested in connection to July homicide

TULSA — According to a Tulsa police booking report, a woman is in custody in connection to a Tulsa homicide that happened last month.

Tulsa police say Leanna Marie Roacher admitted to being present during a robbery that ended with a man being shot.

Police say someone shot Michael Binder in his apartment on July 27, 2019.

Roacher was interviewed by both Tulsa police officers and Sapulpa police on Monday evening.

During this interview, Roacher said that she was let into Binder's apartment. Then, her two accomplices entered the apartment and told her and Binder to get on the floor.

However, Binder called for help and began running towards the front door, and one the accomplices shot Binder in the head, reports say.
