TULSA — According to Tulsa police, officers responded to a shooting at a church in North Tulsa this morning.
It happened just before 4 a.m., at the Church of Christ near Pine and Sheridan police say.
Police say a couple of church members stayed at the church overnight to watch the building after several copper thefts.
They spotted someone on the roof and confronted that person, police say.
Police say the suspect was shot in the abdomen during the altercation in the parking lot.
Police say the suspect was taken to a local hospital.
