TULSA — A Tulsa woman was arrested on two counts of animal cruelty after police said they found two extremely malnourished dogs at her home.

Officers were attempting to make contact with the woman, Angelique Harris, 28, at her northeast Tulsa home when they found a trailer, valued at more than $1,000, that had been reported stolen out of a different county.

After officers obtained a search warrant, they found a pickup truck in the driveway that had also been reported stolen.

Officers also found two dogs in the backyard that were attached to a thick and heavy chain.

Both dogs were malnourished to the point where their skin was shrunken around their bones, police said. Police said the rib cages and spines of the dogs were clearly visible.

Harris was booked on two counts of animal cruelty, one count of possessing a stolen vehicle and one count of having stolen property of more than $1,000.
