Tulsa Police are searching for the suspect responsible for a late Monday night shooting.
Officers responded to the Economy Inn on South Garnett near East 11th St before 11 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a woman had been shot. They say the bullet went through her leg.
The victim told investigators she answered her hotel room after a man knocked on her door. She told police the man then shot her in the leg and fled the scene.
Paramedics rushed the woman to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers say the victim was combative and not cooperating with the investigation. She did not provide a description of the shooter; however, she told officers she believes she was shot from an ongoing dispute from another shooting earlier in the month.
"She wouldn't elaborate further details as to what shooting she was referring to," said Sgt. Darren Bristow from the Tulsa Police Department.
