Tulsa Police say two protesters are in jail after a run in with officers in front of Tulsa City Hall.

Multiple groups of protesters gathered Saturday afternoon in downtown Tulsa to hold separate peaceful gatherings.

Police tell us, officers took part in a Back the Blue march down Archer Street in downtown Tulsa.

The Black Lives Matter protesters gathered at The Center of the Universe at the same time.

One group painted BLM in large yellow letters on 2nd Street in front of Tulsa City Hall.

When officers responded to where the letters were being painted, two protesters intervened and were arrested.

The crowd eventually left the area peacefully as police shut down 2nd Street Saturday afternoon to power wash the freshly painted BLM from the street.
