TULSA -- Tulsa police are investigating Friday night after they said a woman was shot in the face north of the University of Tulsa.
The shooting was reported near North Harvard and Woodrow. Police said a person who was driving the woman to the hospital stopped and called police near I-244 and Delaware at a QuikTrip store.
EMSA officials said the woman was transported in emergent condition to an area hospital. Tulsa police say the woman was shot in the mouth, and her injuries are not life-threatening.
Police are searching for a person of interest in connection with the shooting.
