Police receive report of Edison teacher sending inappropriate messages to students

TULSA -- Tulsa police are investigating a report of an Edison teacher sending inappropriate messages to students.

Police said they have received limited information about the messages at this time.

Students have not been interviewed by police yet, police said.

Tulsa Public Schools released the following statement:

We would take any allegations of inappropriate behavior with all due gravity and investigate them thoroughly. We would, as protocol, also take steps to ensure that our students remain safe. We are, however, not able to share information on confidential personnel matters.
