TULSA – Tulsa police are investigating what they say is a drive-by shooting in the area of 3rd and Xanthus.
TPD says a tan colored SUV was driving in the area when it shot at a home, hitting one person. The victim is currently in the hospital recovering but in stable but critical condition, according to police.
Police say the man was standing in his front yard when a man described as Hispanic drove by in the SUV and fired shots that struck the victim, then fled the scene.
Tulsa police believe the incident to be targeted and not random but right now they do not have a motive discovered. Police did say the vehicle was reported as having a plate with the numbers 186.
