TULSA -- Tulsa police say a man who was involved in a shooting on Monday is in custody after he barricaded himself inside the home.
Police had the house, which is in the 2700 block of South 136th East Place, surrounded. Police said the man was in the home alone.
Police asked people to avoid the area, and to take alternate routes.
Police say the man shot a woman Monday near North Peoria and 36th Street North just before 3 p.m. at the Comanche Park Apartments. The woman who reported the shooting said her boyfriend shot her after a fight.
The victim is expected to recover from her gunshot wound. Witnesses said the shooter fled after the shooting.
