Police: Man arrested after shooting, standoff in east Tulsa

TULSA — Tulsa police are investigating a shooting on the east side on Wednesday.

The shooting happened at about 11:30 a.m. in the 11100 block of East 34th Street. Police said a man was shot in the back and taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police say the shooter, a man, was armed and remained inside the home where the shooting happened. A short standoff ended with the man's arrest.

Police believe the shooting was domestic in nature.
