Police: Man killed after crashing motorcycle into road sign in west Tulsa

TULSA -- A motorcyclist is dead following an early Saturday morning crash near U.S. 75. 

Tulsa police said the man was riding his motorcycle at about 2 a.m. on W. 71st St. when he went into the grass and struck a sign. 

As officers arrived on scene, EMSA and TFD were performing CPR on an adult male, according to a TPD report. The male was pronounced at the scene.

Police say the male was riding a motorcycle and was the only individual involved in the collision and that he was wearing a helmet. His name has not yet been released.
