TULSA, Okla — A person was arrested on Thursday afternoon after a 3-hour standoff at a midtown apartment complex.

Officers say Samuel Alan Moman was being served a felony warrant, and he barricaded himself inside the Villas at Yorktown Apartments on East Skelly Drive.

According to police, Moman has been known to be armed, so the special operations team also responded to the scene.

TPD said they deployed tear gas to force him out of the apartment, but the man had furniture barricaded around the door, so he had to climb out a window to surrender.

No one was injured.

Court records show the warrant was issued on April 16 after Moman failed to appear in court for a hearing in a firearms and drugs case.
