TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police arrested a suspect involved in an overnight shooting at an apartment complex that left one man dead.
Police arrested 22-year-old Corban Payne on Jan. 13th.
Police said when they responded to a shooting at Wellsford Apartments in Tulsa, police found 22-year-old Johnny Dean in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. Police said Dean was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
Payne is not the shooter in Dean's death. Instead, police said they found Payne and Dean were in the process of robbing the shooting suspect, who used a gun to defend himself.
Police said the investigation is still ongoing.
