TULSA -- Police are investigating a shooting in south Tulsa on Monday.
Police said a shooting victim was reported at Candlewood Suites near 71st and Mingo around 1 p.m. this afternoon.
A witness was taking out the trash when they spotted a person slumped over in their car in the hotel parking lot. There was blood and the victim was unconscious.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is believed to be stable. It is not known how long the victim was inside the vehicle before being spotted.
Police do not believe the shooting was self-inflicted.
Police said an unknown suspect ran from the scene and has not been located.
