Police are classifying a late night shooting Wednesday as a homicide.

Officers say they received a call around 9:30 p.m. at a home on East 44th Place in north Tulsa. They say five suspects, all carrying handguns, entered a makeshift garage behind the house and shot at a man one time.

Two others were inside with the victim when the shooting happened.

The victim was taken to St. John where he was pronounced dead. His identity has not been released.

Police believe the shooting was a planned event. They continue to search for clues, including a large white car that was seen parked near the scene just minutes before.

Neighbors say they've seen lots of activity at the house, including arguing and other police calls.

Police say all five suspects are on the run and are considered armed. If you have any information on this crime, you're asked to call police.
