TULSA - Two people are behind bars after leading police on a chase Saturday morning.

Police say they noticed that an SUV the two suspects were driving had tags that didn't belong to the vehicle.

Officers tried stopping the suspects near 1st and Victor. The driver nearly came to a complete stop before fleeing the scene on foot.

The female passenger also fled, but in the opposite direction.

Police searched the vehicle and found luggage, including a revolver and bullets inside a plastic bag.

Investigators say the female passenger does not speak English and told police she just arrived in the U.S.

Sgt. Steve Stoltz says "there may be a human trafficking angle too and none of that would've been found out if we didn't chase him and catch him."

Police are looking into whether or not the driver will be facing other charges.
