Arrest made in north Tulsa bank robbery

TULSA -- Police have made an arrest after a bank robbery in north Tulsa on Tuesday.

The robbery was reported at a Bank of Oklahoma near 1600 North Lewis at 9:30 a.m.

Police said a man armed with a handgun entered the bank and demanded money. He was described as about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds.

Joshua Gilchrist was arrested in Joplin, Missouri on Tuesday night by law enforcement officials in connection with the robbery.
