GRAND LAKE, Okla. - The Grand River Dam Authority Police Department is investigating a fatality on Grand Lake Saturday afternoon.
According to GRDA, the fatality happened at a private boat dock on the Elk River. Police say the incident is not related to the ongoing Bassmaster Classic event on Grand Lake.
Police say the fatality happened around noon Saturday. After investigating, police say they have determined the incident was not a drowning. Authorities say the man was carrying building supplies when he fell, hit his head, and fell into the water.
The man was 77-years-old. Police have not yet released the name of the man.
