TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police identified a man shot and killed by a Tulsa police officer.

Police identified the victim as 36-year-old Jacob Rucker. The shooting happened at OYO Hotel near North Garnett and I-244.

Tulsa police said officers were searching for a suspect involved in a chase Wednesday. They said leads brought officers to the hotel Thursday afternoon and they found the suspect, Rucker, in a red truck.

They said officers gave Rucker commands to get out of the truck, but he drove his truck into an officer's vehicle. They said he also drove into the motel damage.

Police said four officers fired their guns and Rucker died at the scene. No officers and employees of the hotel were hurt during the incident.
