TULSA -- Police arrested a man after an armed robbery and shooting outside an east Tulsa restaurant.
Police responded Friday shortly after 8 p.m. at the Royal China Buffet, 2701 E. Admiral Place.
Police said a gunman approached a man and demanded money. Witnesses told officers that the man apparently did not respond to the demands quickly enough, so the suspect shot the victim in the leg. Paramedics took the victim to the hospital, and he is expected to be okay.
Police took the suspect, identified as Anthony Cox, into custody after another witness pointed to where he ran from the scene. Officers said they found a gun and items taken from the victim in Cox's pockets.
