Police find stolen ambulance in midtown Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. -

Tulsa police are looking for who they believe stole an ambulance outside of a hospital Friday night.

Ambulance operators told police they were transporting a patient to St. John Hospital.

When they got back, they noticed the vehicle wasn't there. 

Officers later found the ambulance abandoned near 28th Street and Richmond Avenue in midtown Tulsa.

TPD says nothing was taken from the ambulance, but it was damaged.

During their search, officers did find sandals at the scene. 

No arrests have been made.
