KIEFER, Okla. — The City of Kiefer is without gas Tuesday, according to the Kiefer Police Department.
Police say crews from Oklahoma Natural Gas and the City of Kiefer are working to restore service.
Emergency trailers provided by City Hall will supply gas to anyone in need, according to police. Country HIlls Diner and Deb's Drive-In are also being provided with emergency gas for patrons needing food.
Officials say city workers are currently going door-to-door and turning off meters to conduct repairs.
After repairs are completed, gas customers will be required to be present at their homes or businesses when calling for gas to be restored, police said.
