The father of the 7-month-old, Arryson Gaines, says he was putting gas in his car and went inside to pay. Gaines says when he came out of the gas station, his car with the infant inside was gone.
Police say two white females allegedly stole the black 2004 Grand Cherokee from a QuikTrip near 51st Street and Peoria Avenue.
According to police, the women abandoned the car near the 4800 block of South Utica Avenue. Police say because the 7-month-old was inside, the women left the vehicle running.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen something to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-2677.
