OWASSO - Police officers received a call about a robbery at the CVS located on 129th East Avenue and 41st North.

They say 25-year-old Grant Miller allegedly stole morphine and oxycodone pills from the store's pharmacy, which is open 24 hours.

Police say he was armed with a .22 caliber pistol.

There was only one pharmacist working at the time. He told 2 Works for You he couldn't speak on the incident due to company policies, but that he was doing fine after the robbery.

After Miller stole the pain medication, he took off in a car heading north leading police on a chase into Washington County.

At some point, he got out of his car and a foot pursuit began. Police finally caught up with him and tased him.

Miller was arrested for DUI, armed robbery and eluding officers.

An Owasso Police officer is being treated at the hospital with non-life threatening injuries he received during the altercation with Miller.
