TULSA - A man was taken into custody after leading police on a chase Monday morning.
Police say just after midnight they pulled over a vehicle on east 17th Street. While interviewing the driver, police noticed a black pickup repeatedly circling the area.
Officers pulled the truck over and spoke with the driver just before he fled the scene. Police say the driver nearly struck some people in the street.
Police chased the truck and used a helicopter to help follow the driver.
Police arrested Jose Caldwell on charges of marijuana possession, eluding police and driving without a license.
