An Oklahoma Police Department is in hot water after a tasing incident outside of its jurisdiction, according to KFOR.

A family in Carter County was hosting a 40th birthday party when they decided to go outside for a game of tag.

According to KFOR, a pregnant neighbor heard the commotion and thought they were intruders.

So she called her husband, a Lone Grove Police Officer, who sent two of his colleagues.

When police arrived they went after a man and his teenage son, tasing the man six times.

The family says the incident has left them shaken.

The Lone Grove Police Department admitted they made a mistake from the beginning, since it wasn't their call.

The man tased and the officer are not in any trouble.
