OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority announced on Wednesday that it has finalized agreements with partners in Texas, meaning Pikepass customers will be able to use their transponders throughout Texas.
“We are excited to announce that Pikepass customers will be able to use their transponders in all of Texas,” said Tim Gatz, OTA Executive Director. “The hard work by all agencies to make this happen will benefit not only our customers, but those from other states that will be able to use their transponders in the State of Oklahoma.”
Pikepass transponders will work on Houston and Austin tollways, among others.
The transponders also work throughout Kansas.
The agreement also allows Texas customers with TxTag and EZ Tag's to have interoperability on Oklahoma tollways.
