TULSA -- A driver is recovering from minor injuries after crashing into a parked semi truck on I-44 in East Tulsa overnight Tuesday.
Troopers said the semi driver pulled over on the shoulder of the exit ramp at 161st East Avenue to sleep.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol said around midnight a truck was headed down I-44 when the driver fell asleep. They said the pickup hit the parked semi.
The passenger side was sheered off by the semi trailer. The roadway was briefly closed.
The pickup driver suffered only minor injuries.
