TULSA -- Phone service for the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office dispatch center was restored Monday evening after temporarily being out of service.
TCSO says Tulsa county citizens can now continue using the city's regular 911 service.
Earlier Monday, TCSO says a car struck a power pole at 1155 North Peoria Avenue, severing a fiber optic cable and causing the outage.

According to a statement, the lines went down at 11:45 a.m. In a press release, TCSO said deputies were stationed at high visibility areas across Tulsa County to make them easy to spot.
The crash caused both AT&T customers and the TCSO call center to loose service.
Below is an outage map from AT&T provided at 2:30 Monday.
