TULSA – Police are trying to locate a person of interest in connection to a severe beating that left one man fighting for his life.
William Cooper, 26, is wanted by Tulsa police in reference to an altercation where a man in his thirties was beaten with a metal tool like object.
Witness accounts state that Cooper was involved in a fight at a convenience store located at 416 E. 11th Street around 5:30 p.m. Those in the area say the victim was outside of the store talking with two women when Cooper arrived. Police say that it’s rumored Cooper used to date one of the women who was talking with the victim and an argument ensued between Cooper and the victim. The accounts go on to state that Cooper used a metal tool like object and hit the victim several times in the head.
The victim is currently recovering from surgery and is still listed as in grave condition.
