Person of interest in Allen County, Kansas double homicide may be in Oklahoma area, officials say

ALLEN COUNTY, Okla. — The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says a man sought in connection with a double homicide may be in the Oklahoma area.

69-year-old John Tadlock and his daughter, 36-year-old Molly Wilson, were found dead from gunshot wounds on Thursday in Iola, Kansas.

The person of interest in the case was identified as Ben Converse, 38. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He may be driving a maroon 2011 Kia Forte with Kansas license plate 509 KZS. Converse may be in Oklahoma, officials said.
