Perkins man charged in shooting death of father

Posted

A Perkins man officially has been charged in the shooting death of his father, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says.

Jerry Ray Craine, 36, reportedly gave false statements to investigators during the course of the investigation, OSBI says. That information reportedly conflicted with evidence agents found at the scene.

Thomas Richard Craine was found shot to death on July 29 in the home he shared with his son.

Jerry Craine was arrested on Wednesday by Perkins police and booked for first-degree manslaughter. He currently is on supervised probation for a conviction of assault and battery in the presence of children.
