Pawnee Public Schools reports one of their students has been arrested for threatening to carry out acts of violence.

Late Tuesday afternoon, the Pawnee Public Schools Superintendent says, a bus driver informed administration that a student had made threats to two district employees that he had an incident with earlier that day.

School officials say 19-year-old Dalton Mitchell made the threats to the two employees.

The superintendent says the student had transferred into the district at the beginning of the school year.

Officials say they called authorities and Mitchell was booked into the Pawnee County Jail.
