Pawhuska Police: Substitute teacher arrested for threatening to kill student

PAWHUSKA — Pawhuska police say a substitute teacher has been arrested after threatening to kill a student at Pawhuska Public Schools.

Police say the substitute teacher was identified as Nancysu Herron.

A student alerted a staff member and the school responded quickly by alerting the police.

After Ms. Herron admitted she had threated to kill one of the students, police say Ms. Herron was arrested by a School Rescource Officer.

Police say this is the third threat in only six school days at Pawhuska Public Schools.

Yesterday another threat had been made toward the schools by a juvenile student, confirmed the Pawhuska School Resource Officer.
