Pawhuska cartwheeling substitute teacher, Lacy Sponsler, pleads guilty to petty larceny

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. -- A woman previously arrested for indecent exposure after performing a cartwheel without underwear on at a Pawhuska High School has pleaded guilty to petty larceny.

Police say Lacy Sponsler was arrested at a Broken Arrow bowling alley after she tried to steal a purse.

Sponsler pled guilty to one count of petty larceny in court Wednesday.

Sponsler first made headlines when, according to police, she performed a cartwheel in a choir class while wearing a dress and no underwear. The incident was caught on camera.
