KIEFER, Okla. – A high-speed chase involving several agencies ended with a passenger in the car bailing onto the road in west Tulsa.
The chase began when police attempted to pull the suspect over but they sped off. Then the pursuit ventured north out of Kiefer and into Sapulpa.
Sapulpa police along with Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Creek County Sheriff’s Office were involved in the chase off Interstate 244 at the 33rd West Avenue.
A Creek County Sheriff's K9 officer chased the man down after police say he tried to run from the scene. The man was then taken to a nearby hospital to be checked out but his identity has not been revealed.
Authorities say another person was taken into custody. The woman who reportedly jumped from the car during the chase was taken into custody.
