TULSA, Okla. -- Tulsa Police identified the two people who died in a crash at the intersection of 41st and Yale on Monday.

David and Kelli Fullerton leave behind seven children, ranging in age from 2 to 28. The family is left in shock this week after the sudden accident took the lives of their parents. David's brother said now, they remember the little things.

"If you say something to him, he's got a joke right back at you and it's so funny. He was so funny. If your spirits are down he brings them up so quick," Dennis Fullerton said.

David's nephew said Kelli was known for her kind spirit and the way she looked out for others.

"When I was younger and starting out my family and we didn't really have a place to go, David moved us in with them for a while and they've always been there when we needed them just like everybody in our family," Joey Fullerton said.

David's brother tells 2 Works for You even in his final moments at the intersection, the father showed the love he had for his family.

"As a parent, number one. I give him number one props. He loves his kids very dearly. And that's what he said to the ambulance drivers: tell my daughters I love them," Fullerton said.

The youngest children, aged 2 and 13 still lived at home. They'll now be raised by their oldest sister. In the meantime, the family is struggling to raise $20,000 for funeral expenses.

"I still haven't really reacted to it yet. That's why I'm dreading the funeral. You get our family together and it's not an emotional time it's usually a time of goofing off, having fun, and enjoying being around each other," Joey Fullerton said.
