OWASSO, Okla. -- Owasso police are investigating a recent string of vehicle break-ins and thefts tied to a group of suspects.

Over the last two weeks, police say there have been 16 vehicle break-ins and three vehicles that have been stolen.

Police say they are stepping up patrols in Owasso to help catch the group. Several surveillance photos have captured persons of interest in connection with the case. Those images are attached above.

Security video captured an auto burglary on Aug. 4 at Towne Place Suites. Evidence suggests the same people seen on that video may be responsible for similar crimes in Owasso, police said.

Police ask residents to be extra diligent in locking vehicles and to report any suspicious activity.

Anyone with information in regards to the recent burglaries is asked to call the OPD tip line at 918-272-COPS.
