2 Works For You introduced the community to one of them in 2015 - an Owasso man known to some as "Bob the Barrel Man".
His buoyant personality keeps many racers afloat.
Bob Thomas is known for the countless barrels sitting on his property.
He sells them on Craig’s List for $10 - $25. Many of his sales happen this time of a year -- when people start building rafts.
Bob says, "The barrels come from Arkansas to Oklahoma City...industrial center at Pryor -- I get a lot of barrels from them."
Bob lives alone. His wife passed away 11 years ago.
“She lives with Jesus, now. I hope I can be with her again, some day."
