KELLYVILLE, Okla. -- The Turner Turnpike will be closed overnight this week between Kellyville and Bristow as construction continues on the turnpike.
The closures are part of an expansion project as crews work to install bridge beams and restripe the roadway in the construction corridor.
Westbound lanes will be closed beginning Monday night from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Tuesday. Traffic will be diverted at State Highway 33 and then to State Highway 66 as drivers will be able to reenter the turnpike in Bristow.
Eastbound lanes will be closed Tuesday night from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Wednesday. Drivers will be diverted onto SH 66 and then State Highway 33 before being able to reenter the turnpike.
