Over 100 citations issued, 10 arrests made in midtown Tulsa DUI checkpoint

TULSA -- The Tulsa Police Department issued more than 100 citations during a sobriety checkpoint last weekend in midtown Tulsa. 

The checkpoint was held in the area of 4100 South Sheridan Road on May 26 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Police issued the following results in the operation:

  • DUI Arrests – 8
  • Non-Intoxicated Felony Arrests – 1
  • Felony Warrants Cleared – 2
  • Non-Intoxicated Misdemeanor Arrests – 1
  • Misdemeanor Warrants Cleared – 12
  • Citations/Warnings Issued – 102
