BARTLESVILLE, Okla. -- A man was arrested Thursday after police said a homeowner noticed on security cameras that there was a intruder inside the home.

The homeowner, who was out of state, told police that a phone alarm went off, notifying of the intruder who was seen taking a flat-screen TV on security cameras.

Police responded after they said the homeowner quickly notified them that a man, who is the homeowner's neighbor, was taking a TV from the homeowner's residence.

Police obtained a warrant and contacted Michael Marlatt, 39, who said that he has a medical condition which causes him to black out and commit crimes. Police located the TV in Marlatt's garage.

Marlatt was arrested on a count of second-degree burglary, possession of stolen property and a city warrant.
