The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department issued a statement Thursday, March 12, stating that they would be suspending all athletic competitions for the time being.
The university will also be canceling all out-of-season practices and workouts, until further notice.
The current health concerns were a major factor in the Athletics Department's decision, according to officials.
