STILLWATER, Okla. — In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, Oklahoma State University is requiring students and staff to wear a face mask on campus this upcoming school year.

OSU plans to give each student a washable cloth face covering and each faculty member will get two, according to university officials.

In addition, there will be 10 voluntary walk-up temperature monitoring stations across campus, and two ounce bottles of hand sanitizer will be provided to all OSU employees and students, officials said.

The University of Oklahoma announced a similar plan earlier this week.
