TULSA – The OSU Medical Center is taking a step back in time this week as they look through a capsule containing some contents from 1958.
The original capsule was discovered in 1994 when the OSU Medical Center was going through expansions. Then in 2015, the OSU Medical Center started work on a new parking lot in November.
Around that time they dug up the capsule and went through the items. Among them were newspaper articles, medical equipment, old pictures and even a pocket bible from 1956 which the founding members of Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital signed and underlined the scripture, "Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase." - Job 8:9.
On Friday the capsule was reburied with new items.
