A historic gift for Oklahoma State University's College of Agriculture Sciences and Natural Resources.
The Ferguson Family Foundation is giving $50 million to transform the college and create a state of the art research and teaching facility.
$25 million will go to the college operations and the other $25 million will start a fundraising campaign to get the research building.
They hope to get enough donations to start construction in the spring of next year.
The OSU department will be renamed in the Ferguson family's honor.
