According to the Oklahoma State Department of Health's weekly flu activity summary, the flu has taken a deadly turn in Oklahoma.
OSDH reports one person in Oklahoma has died from influenza.
OSDH reports that a total of 345 people were hospitalized with testing between the dates of Sept. 1 and Oct. 19, 2019.
OSDH report shows this number has increased by eight, making the new total 53 due to new hospitalizations and/or deaths between Oct. 20 and Oct. 26.
