OSDH: Investigating Seventh Possible Coronavirus Case in Oklahoma

The seventh person in Oklahoma is being tested for the coronavirus, while five others have tested negative, according to officials with the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

The Coronavirus outbreak globally has now killed more than 3,400 people.

According to the Oklahoma State Department of Health website, there are two PUIs (person under investigation) pending results on the COVID-19 Oklahoma Test Results.

Officials say the individuals are showing symptoms of the COVID-19 (coronavirus): fever, cough and shortness of breath.

The individuals are currently in isolation and OSDH officials say they will know the results in several days.

So far, there are no confirmed cases of the virus in Oklahoma.

Health officials are advising any travelers returning from China to get screened.
